Qualifications

Experience
- 1-4 years of hands-on experience in IPDRG, CCS, and CPC coding.
- 4+ years of experience in medical coding (CPC certification required after 4 years).
Certifications
- CCS
- CPC
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG coding systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers, payers, and team members.
- Ability to interpret and apply medical terminology and diagnoses.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Additional certifications or training in medical coding preferred.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in coding software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Familiarity with medical billing processes and insurance protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
