Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Solution Specialist. As a Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative IoT solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to understand requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Roles And Responsibilities Sensor and Gateway Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate sensors and gateways for various use cases across multiple markets, considering factors like compatibility, range, energy efficiency, and cost. Stay updated with the latest in sensor and gateway technologies to ensure the most effective and innovative solutions are utilized. Solution Proposal Development Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored IoT solution proposals. Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed solution designs that meet customer requirements while considering scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Training Material Preparation Develop comprehensive training materials for newly released products, including user manuals, FAQs, and video tutorials, to ensure the sales and customer success teams are well-equipped to support clients. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and, occasionally, for customers to enhance understanding and adoption of new products. Value Communication Articulate the value proposition and ROI of IoT implementations to clients through detailed analyses, presentations, and discussions, highlighting benefits such as operational efficiency, cost savings, and competitive advantages. Work closely with the marketing team to develop content that communicates the benefits of IoT solutions to potential customers. Case Study/White Paper/Use-Case Creation Write and publish case studies, white papers, and use-case documents to educate and inform stakeholders about the successes, challenges, and value delivered by IoT solutions. Collaborate with clients to document their experiences and outcomes from implementing IoT solutions, ensuring accurate and impactful representation. Customer And Partner Engagement Engage with technology partners for continuous development of solutions and exploration of new opportunities. Act as a liaison between the technical team and customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred). Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions. Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in IoT technologies, including sensors, gateways, communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee), and IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT Hub). Solution Design: Ability to design and architect comprehensive IoT solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient. Knowledge of system integration and software development is essential. Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data to derive insights, make informed decisions, and demonstrate the value of IoT implementations. Project Management: Experience in managing projects from conception through deployment, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and write compelling case studies and white papers. Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand and translate customer needs into technical specifications and solutions. Innovative Thinking: A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.
