HARDWARE DEVELOPER IOT

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge industrial IoT products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in embedded hardware engineering and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Proven track record of 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop circuit boards Analog & Mixed signal (PCBs) based on project requirements.

• Participate in customization systems to meet client-specific needs, including integration with WIFI, GPS,4G, biometric systems, Analog & Digital sensors, RFID & NFC Sensors, Ethernet, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, FTDI, USB.

· Designing power management circuits to optimize battery life.

• Create circuit designs and select appropriate components based on design specifications, performance requirements, and cost considerations.
• Ensuring IoT devices comply with relevant industry standards and regulations related to safety, EMC, and radio emissions.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) efficiently.
• Build prototypes of hardware systems conduct comprehensive testing, and refine designs to ensure high quality and reliability
• Signal Integrity & Power Management: Analyse and optimize signal integrity, power distribution, and noise control to ensure system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with firmware and design engineers to establish project criteria and deliver successful hardware solutions.
• Work closely with the mechanical team to ensure PCB designs meet enclosure specifications.
• Perform extensive testing and debugging of complex circuit boards and systems to ensure quality and reliability.
• Document all design, development, and testing activities thoroughly.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding and supporting them through complex tasks and projects.

Skills:

· Familiarity with various microcontrollers and embedded systems with strong Knowledge of Micro-controller as well as Micro-processor (Raspberry Pi).

• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
• In-depth knowledge of selecting appropriate components and BOM generation.
• Proficient in various microcontrollers and hardware interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, SPI, and CAN.
• Strong understanding of PCB types, design, and fabrication processes for both prototypes and mass production.
• Ability to design for EMI/EMC compliance, manufacturability, and testability.
• Experienced with through-hole, SMT, and BGA technologies, using dual-sided assemblies and multilayer boards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and adaptability skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in IoT hardware technology
