POSITION OVERVIEW SKO is seeking a highly skilled Ionic React Developer with project management and leadership abilities to lead its development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Ionic, React, Redux Toolkit, Capacitor, TypeScript, and modern front-end development while also possessing strong managerial skills to oversee project timelines, team coordination, and effective problem-solving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic React and Capacitor. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable TypeScript and JavaScript code. Implement state management using Redux Toolkit and optimize performance. Ensure seamless integration with backend services and third-party APIs. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Ionic, React, and mobile development. Project Management: Lead & Mentor a team of developers, ensuring smooth collaboration and technical excellence. Plan, track, and deliver project milestones while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Bridge communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients. Manage Agile/Scrum development cycles, conduct stand-up meetings and oversee sprint planning. Identify risks, roadblocks and conflicts in the project and implement solutions proactively. Prepare reports on project progress, performance, and deliverables for management. Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members, ensuring skill alignment with project needs. Problem Solving & Decision Making: Assess project challenges and make strategic decisions to improve workflow. Adapt to changing project requirements and manage scope creep effectively. Resolve technical and managerial conflicts within the team. Handle client expectations and ensure high-quality deliverables. KEY REQUIREMENTS Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Ionic Framework, React, Redux Toolkit, Capacitor, TypeScript and JavaScript. Experience with mobile app deployment on both iOS and Android. Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and third-party integrations. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and cloud services. Experience in writing unit tests and automated testing frameworks. Project Management & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams in a fast-paced development environment. Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint planning. Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk management and process improvement
