Analyst – Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, driven and knowledgeable Analyst to join our investment team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, technically strong, and deeply passionate about climate and sustainability. This role requires sharp analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to dive deep into emerging technologies, business models, and market landscapes. Location: Mumbai Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications Responsibilities: · Participate in founder meetings, prepare detailed notes, and contribute to early-stage screening and evaluation. · Conduct thorough research on sectors, technologies, and market trends to inform and strengthen Peak’s investment theses. · Proactively identify, track, and source promising early-stage companies aligned with Peak’s focus areas. · Monitor deal activity and investment trends in climate tech and adjacent sectors, providing regular market intelligence. · Support the end-to-end investment process, including due diligence, business model analysis, competitive benchmarking, market sizing, and financial assessments. · Contribute to the drafting of investment memos and recommendations, developing independent perspectives on new opportunities. · Assist portfolio companies with research, strategy, and operational projects as needed. · Collaborate with team members on special projects, ecosystem building, and thought leadership initiatives. Requirements: · 2+ years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking, startup operations, or ther relevant area. · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. Engineering degree is preferred. · Demonstrated passion for sustainability, climate innovation, and technology-driven solutions. · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with datasets, industry reports, and financial models. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, actionable insights. · Highly motivated, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. · Prior experience in early-stage investing or climate tech is a strong plus. · Willingness to be based in Mumbai and work collaboratively with a dynamic team.
