Job Description

Experienced Intune Administrator to oversee and optimize our mobile device management (MDM) setup. This role requires a skilled administrator to ensure seamless operations, streamline policy configurations, and lead migrations, including Jamf for macOS management. Key Responsibilities: Intune Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM), including device enrollments, application deployments, and policy configurations. Group Policy Review: Review, analyze, and update Group Policies to align with Intune-based policies and ensure appropriate application across devices. Migration Management: Oversee and facilitate the migration from SCCM to Intune, ensuring minimal disruption to end users and adherence to best practices. Cross-platform Management: Support the transition to Jamf for macOS device management, ensuring a cohesive and secure MDM setup across platforms. Policy Optimization: Develop and implement security policies, compliance profiles, and device configurations to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment. Documentation Training: Create and maintain thorough documentation of Intune policies, procedures, and configurations, and provide training to the support teams as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune, particularly in environments transitioning from SCCM. Familiarity with Group Policy Management and knowledge of best practices for transitioning policies to cloud-based management. Strong knowledge of Jamf and macOS management, or a willingness to quickly develop skills for Jamf administration. Experience with enterprise MDM, device compliance, and security policy configuration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Preferred Skills: Relevant certifications (eg, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Jamf Certification). Previous experience with SCCM and hands-on migration from SCCM to Intune. Familiarity with other MDM tools and platforms.
