Job Description

Venture Center is seeking enthusiastic first or second-year engineering students for a 2-month internship to support key organizational projects. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in database management, research, and presentation design while contributing to the startup ecosystem. Project 1 - Incubatee database and mapping Job Responsibilities Compile a comprehensive database of all startup beneficiaries of Venture Center Categorize startups based on relevant parameters and map them into a searchable system Identify and recommend the best software tools for database creation Develop and implement basic coding solutions if needed to enhance the database Project 2 - Startup Slide Deck by Industry Job Responsibilities Compile slide deck of all startups by industry sector Identify the best software/tools for organizing and automating the presentation Qualifications & Skills Required Currently pursuing UG (First or Second Year) in Engineering Strong research and analytical skills Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools Basic programming and DBMS knowledge preferred Attention to detail and ability to organize large datasets
