As a professional responsible for coordinating international shipments of auto parts and vehicles, your primary duty is to ensure smooth and efficient transportation from order placement to final delivery. You will work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines to guarantee timely and cost-effective shipment of goods. You will also collaborate with production, warehouse, and sales teams to align export schedules with inventory availability. Negotiating shipping rates with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize cost-efficiency is another critical aspect of your job. Utilizing software and logistics tools to manage orders, shipments, and inventory, as well as generating reports on shipping performance, lead times, and export compliance will be part of your daily activities. Maintaining accurate records for internal reporting and customs documentation will also be a key responsibility.
