Role & responsibilities Job Title: - International Sales & Exim - Manager Education: BE Mech / Production / Other. Certification in International Trade will be added advantage. Job Description: We are looking for an International Sales & Exim Manager with a strong foundation in international trade and sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of export and import procedures, sales channel development, competition mapping, and the ability to interact with foreign clients. Experience in tenders, RFQs, techno-commercial proposals, and exposure to product engineering is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Export & Import Operations (EXIM) Manage the end-to-end export and import processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Coordinate logistics, documentation, and customs compliance to streamline international trade. Ensure knowledge of key EXIM documents and trade regulations. 2. Sales Channel Development: Establish and maintain diverse sales channels, including dealers, contractors, government entities to increase business. Build and sustain relationships with distributors and partners to enhance market penetration. Identify new opportunities for sales growth through market research. 3. Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of competitors in international markets, tracking their offerings, pricing, and strategies. Utilize market insights to adjust pricing, positioning, and sales tactics for optimal competitiveness. 4. Sales Types: Focus on B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) sales in international markets. Tailor sales strategies to meet the unique requirements of each segment, expanding client base and increasing revenue. 5. Tender Management & Proposal Development: Lead and manage tendering processes, including preparation of Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and techno-commercial proposals. Ensure proposals are competitive, technically accurate, and aligned with client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality proposal submission. 6. Product Exposure & Technical Understanding: Gain basic exposure to the engineering and design aspects of products. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure products meet market requirements and customer expectations. Provide technical support and product knowledge during the sales process. 7. Client Interaction: Regularly interact with foreign clients, understanding their needs, addressing queries, and building lasting relationships. Represent the company through exhibitions, ensuring effective communication Travel as required for client meetings, trade shows, and market research. Preferred Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building. Exposure to product engineering, technical specifications, and production processes is a plus.
