JOB DESCRIPTION / LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE FOR AIR & SEA EXPORT 1. Should be updated with complete daily activities of Sea export shipments & its documentation, Customs, Customs Clearance with daily & timely updates. CHA profile, Checklist, custom norms, CFS knowledge, Handling Sea Operation Form 13, BL Draft , VGM filing, SI filing, Incoterms. 2. Capacity to work independently & with Team For sea shipments, Prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws & procedures. 3. Able to co-ordinate for Ocean Freight Forwarders & clients with day-to-day status. 4. Should have complete capacity to understand updated rules & tariffs of customs & to suggest best methods for cost controls in terms of operation activities. 5. Will coordinate with Customer over telecom and will be main contact with customer at both end for his a/c. 6. Monitoring client shipments on day-to-day basis right from receiving booking order till the shipment reaches the destination. 7. Knowledge of Sea Export shipment handling process & documentation. 8. Co coordinating with Custom Clearance dept. for shipping bill filing, booking/ rates approvals. 9. Co coordinating with transporters, Operations staff. 10. Ensuring Export documents are noted with customs prior to arrival of shipment in order to avoid any delays & ensuring shipments custom cleared & handed over to carrier well in advance. Also responsible for controlling cargo against loss, damage, or pilferage. 11. Should coordinate for critical matters and capacity to coordinate from Pre-Shipment Documents to Post Shipment Documents. 12. To handle all queries from customs & to finish it off in the most economic & immediate manner. Also, it is must to retain all documents related to Customs transactions in an orderly, itemized manner for the timely& on regular basis from the date of entry. 13. Communicating and gathering requirements from shipper and to provide feedback to seniors. 14. Maintaining highest levels of confidentiality in handling all matters. 15. Dispatching shipping documents & vouchers on timely basis to office and maintaining records of the same. 16. Follow up with destination Gateway & Service Centre for any delays in gate in the shipments. 17. Daily shipment tracking, follow-up with carriers for delayed shipments. 18. Assurance of complete accuracy while performing above mentioned tasks 19. No Financial bonding with any vendors of the company.
