Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) is a Sector Skill Council recognized by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and operates under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). LSSSDC focuses on skill development for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and research & development sectors in India. The organization aims to create a strong ecosystem for quality education and skill development, targeting the training of approximately 3.5 million individuals by 2047. LSSSDC develops industry-aligned vocational qualifications, sets national occupational standards, accredits training programs, and monitors industry engagement in apprenticeship initiatives to address skill gaps in the life sciences sector.

Role Description

The Intern Project Coordinator will assist in project planning, coordination, and implementation to support life sciences skill development initiatives. This on-site internship role, based in Delhi, NY, includes responsibilities such as preparing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, supporting research, and ensuring timely execution of project deliverables. The intern will also assist in documentation, report preparation, and data analysis to monitor project outcomes and contribute to operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills to manage timelines and deliverables effectively
• Proficiency in research, data collection, and analytical abilities for supporting evidence-based decision-making
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination and documentation
• Basic knowledge or interest in the life sciences industry, vocational education, or skill development is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or other project management tools
• Availability to work on-site in Delhi, NY for the duration of the internship
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
