About the Data and Decision Science Department:
The Data & Decision Science (D&DS) team is the most fluid and dynamic team at C2FO. At any given time, the members of the department contribute to multiple projects. It consists of the Data Engineering, Data Science and Analytics, Data Operations, and Business Intelligence teams.
As an organization, C2FO believes that data is the lifeblood for any technology-based company. Our Data teams use cutting edge, open-source technologies to collect, process, store, and leverage data. The D&DS team is responsible for C2FO’s end-to-end data solutions, focusing on data architectures, data science and machine learning, business intelligence and analytics, and overall data strategy.
Empowered by the flexibility of cloud-based hosted computing, and spread across India and US, collectively, these teams are responsible for leveraging both internal and external data that helps C2FO innovate, take data backed decisions, and solve complex business problems such as customer acquisition and retention.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, analyze, and provide effective resolution of incoming data quality requests.
- Daily task of manual validation, gathering, consolidating, aggregating, and ensuring quality within the data
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with data engineering and other teams to meet business and information needs.
- Work with large amounts of data to drive business decisions.
- Traverse large data to provide a wholistic view of customers.
- Assist in making current processes more efficient and scalable.
- Profile company data by analysing, extracting, validating, and optimizing relevant information.
- Assist in identifying common elements that may be used to enhance current procedures.
- Work with management, sales, marketing, operations, engineering teams, and end-users to create and manage workflows as well as data validation.
- Assisting with technical operations as needed
- Other projects or tasks that arise to further the quality of company data and contribute to the overall success of C2FO.
Requirements:
- Excellent ability to quickly troubleshoot, problem solve, and analyze.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests and projects.
- Excellent research acumen.
- Data management experience (data quality, data standardization, and data governance).
- Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy and excellence in all tasks.
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to assist in defining, developing, testing, and implementing business solutions.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a must.
Additional Experience in this Area a Plus
- Intermediate SQL experience is good to have.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and data visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI) is good to have.
