Reporting to HOD: Space Planning & Design

Qualification: B.Arch / Diploma / Bachelor / B.VOC in Interior Designing

Experience: 2-5 Years of experience

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Concept to Design Translation: Translate the design head’s concepts into practical, workable designs that can be implemented.

* Design Focus: Dedicate time to develop detailed and creative design solutions.

* Drawing Creation: Create comprehensive drawings and details to guide project execution (secondary responsibility).

* Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for the designs, ensuring they meet project specifications.

* BOQ Management: Create and regularly update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accurate material estimation.

* Quantity Removal: Manage the removal of quantities from BOQs as needed.

* Coordination: Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and clear communication.

* Deadline Monitoring: Track and ensure that all design and drawing-related deadlines are met.

* Material MRS: Prepare detailed Material Requisition Slips (MRS) with precise brand names and codes, ensuring materials are checked against the budget.

* Drawing List Maintenance: Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive list of drawings.

* Issue Escalation: Escalate design issues to the design head or project director when necessary.

* Decision-Making: Close open loops and make decisions proactively to prevent delays due to unanswered questions. This is crucial to keep the project moving forward efficiently.

* Client Coordination: Provide secondary coordination with the client, supporting the design head in managing client expectations.

* Site Visits: Conduct frequent site visits to ensure designs are being implemented correctly and to address any on-site issues.

Good communication and presentation skills

Good Command over software’s like AutoCad, Sketchup, Lumion, Revit

Good command on MS Office Suite
