Key Roles & Responsibilities for a Architectural Designer: 1. Concept Development SupportAssist in developing initial design concepts under the guidance of senior architects. Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming and design review sessions. 2. Drafting and Design DocumentationPrepare 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations) using AutoCAD or similar tools. Support in creating 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or 3Ds Max. 3. Presentation PreparationHelp design and compile client presentation boards and design decks. Use software like Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign to create visually appealing layouts. 4. Research and AnalysisConduct research on materials, products, codes, and design precedents. Assist in site analysis, including site visits and documentation. 5. Coordination and CommunicationAttend project meetings to understand design intent and client requirements. Coordinate with internal teams (interior designers, engineers, etc.) as needed. 6. Model MakingBuild physical models when required to convey design ideas effectively. 7. Learning & DevelopmentStay updated on architectural trends, materials, and sustainable practices. Actively participate in workshops, design critiques, and training sessions.
