Key Responsibilities Conceptualize and develop comprehensive design solutions for diverse interior spaces Produce precise 2D architectural layouts and photorealistic 3D visualizations using professional design software Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand project goals, preferences, and functional requirements Develop detailed design proposals that balance aesthetic appeal with practical functionality Select and specify appropriate materials, color palettes, furniture, and decorative elements Create comprehensive project presentations and mood boards to effectively communicate design concepts Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations Perform site visits and surveys to assess space potential and design constraints Stay current with emerging design trends, sustainable practices, and technological innovations in interior design Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Professional certification in interior design (preferred) Experience Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in interior design Portfolio demonstrating versatility across different design styles and project types Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in design software: 2D Tools: AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator 3D Visualization: SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender Rendering Software: V-Ray, Lumion Strong understanding of spatial planning principles Comprehensive knowledge of color theory and material selection Basic understanding of construction techniques and building codes Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of sustainable design practices Experience with commercial or hospitality design projects Familiarity with local building regulations and design standards Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based incentives Professional development opportunities
