Role & responsibilities Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Identify potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and evaluate vendor performance. Cost Management: Analyze market trends and pricing to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery timelines. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsiveness. Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and mitigate supplier risks Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to establish clear terms and conditions. Monitor contract compliance and address any deviations. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance procurement processes to streamline efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage technology to improve the procurement lifecycle. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Provide guidance and support in achieving departmental and organizational goals. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (15-20 years) in a senior procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, market trends, and supplier dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using procurement software and tools. (working knowledge of SAP is a plus)
