Job Description

Partner with application development teams in requirements gathering, scope definition, feasibility assessment, and testing approaches Perform functional and technical analysis of integration requirements for the purpose of designing reusable and extensible IIB solutions Perform hands-on technical development: code, unit test, user test support and production implementation Create/maintain development and support artifacts including design documents, technical specifications, implementation plans, on call notes etc. Adhere to existing ESB design standards, processes and best practices and contribute to their ongoing evolution Provide subject matter expertise for continuous improvements such as reducing complexity, time and cost and increasing performance and effectiveness of IIB integration solutions Guides and mentors less experienced team members Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field 3 to 5 years experience. ACE V11 or IIB V10 analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and performance tuning experience Strong ESQL skills Java compute node experience Experience with consuming and exposing web services - SOAP and REST Experience with data formats: XML, XML Schema, WSDL, DFDL, XSLT, JSON, HTML Experience with performance tuning IIB applications Exposure to or use of IBM App Connect Enterprise(ACE) Version Control tool experience, preferably GIT Experience with data transmission protocols: HTTP/S, SSL Strong SQL skills Experience using the following databases - SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 WebSphere MQ application development skills and understanding of how application works with MQ. Understanding of MQ intercommunication architecture including queues and channels, MQ clustering, pub/sub from IIB using MQ as the publication engine. Working experience of DataPower and API Connect would be plus. Experience in gathering business and technical requirements for new applications and application changes. Experience in creating detailed functional and technical design documents Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to influence across multiple levels of an organization Strong teamwork orientation Experience with mentoring less experienced team members Highly effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work within tight technical and business constraints
