Role Overview: As a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Support Engineer at EY, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting solutions within the Guidewire Policy Centre module. Your role will involve participating in maintenance and support activities to resolve production issues. Collaboration with business analysts, project managers, and other developers will be essential to ensure that policy administration systems are efficient, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Guidewire PolicyCenter Support and Maintenance (Staff 3-6 years). - Designing, building, supporting, and performing defect fixes. - Performing Root Cause Analysis and providing fixes. - Designing, configuring, and supporting rating logic within Guidewire PolicyCenter. - Developing rating worksheets, rate tables, and implementing business rules for complex rating requirements. - Implementing enhancements and code changes. - Flexibility to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and On-Call Support on a rostered rotational basis. - Proactive monitoring. - Managing the Guidewire PC Configuration & Integration. - Designing, modifying, and implementing Guidewire product suite. Qualification Required: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Policy Centre, implementation, architecture, and components. - Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0 version + technical/functional/cloud certification. - Experience in designing, configuring, and supporting rating logic within Guidewire PolicyCenter. - Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, web services, and API integration. - Experience in production support activities and tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins. - Knowledge of service management, change management activities, SLAs, and estimator tools. - Exposure to working in shifts and on-call support. - Incident management and problem management experience. - Familiarity with SDLC life cycle, release planning, and management. - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT. - Strong in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System. - Strong knowledge and experience in Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.,
