Instrumentation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on

  PLC control panels

  , preferably

  Schneider Electric

  and

  Allen-Bradley

  PLC systems.
• Handle configuration, calibration, and fault diagnostics of

  PID controllers

  and

  temperature indicators

  , preferably from

  Yokogawa, SLEC, and Honeywell

  .
• Manage installation, servicing, and calibration of

  weighing scales and load cells

  , preferably

  Mettler Toledo

  .
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability.
  
• Inspect, test, and adjust instrumentation systems to maintain optimal performance.
  
• Support automation engineers and production teams in resolving instrumentation-related issues.
  
• Maintain documentation of calibration records, service reports, and equipment history.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and adhere to company maintenance procedures.
  
• Assist in commissioning instrumentation systems during new equipment installations or upgrades.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  
• Hands-on experience working with industrial instrumentation equipment.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC-based automation systems (Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley preferred).
  
• Good understanding of PID loops, temperature control instruments, and calibration processes.
  
• Experience in working with weighing scales, load cells, and associated systems (Mettler Toledo preferred).
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings and wiring diagrams.
  
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts or on-call if required.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  
• Physically fit to handle field work, inspections, and equipment handling.
