Role & responsibilities Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, commissioning, and startup of instrumentation systems and equipment at customer sites, ensuring all processes are executed according to project requirements and specifications. Support for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT & SAT): Provide technical support to quality and site teams during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure all systems meet operational requirements and are ready for customer use. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Evaluate and resolve equipment-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining optimal performance of instrumentation systems at customer sites. Calibration & Validation: Perform calibration and validation of process and field instruments, ensuring all instruments and equipment meet industry standards and customer specifications. Customer Interaction: Maintain and build strong relationships with customers, providing timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and requests. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality technical support. Online Technical Support: Provide online technical assistance and troubleshooting guidance to customers and internal teams as required. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all necessary documentation, including calibration certificates, test reports, and commissioning records, are accurately completed and submitted as per project requirements. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Equipment: Must be conversant with electro-mechanical equipment and their operation. Familiarity with Electrical & Pneumatic Circuit Diagrams: Should have a strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and pneumatic circuit diagrams. Hands-on Experience with Testing Instruments: Practical experience with tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and testing. Basic Understanding of PLC/SCADA Systems: Basic awareness of working with PLC/SCADA systems, particularly Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar systems. Proficiency in System Drawings and Documentation: Good understanding of hookup drawings, field wiring, junction box (JB) layouts, P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and PLC logic for effective system support both on-site and remotely. Customer Care Skills: Excellent customer care and communication skills, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and fostering positive relationships with clients. Perks and benefits
