Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to oversee the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all instrumentation and control systems in our dairy processing facility. This role is critical in ensuring process accuracy, product quality, and plant efficiency, with a strong focus on food safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and calibrate instruments related to pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurements in dairy processing and utility systems. Troubleshoot and repair sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other field instruments across process and packaging lines. Ensure accuracy and reliability of instruments in critical dairy processes (pasteurization, CIP, homogenization, and packaging). Support PLC, SCADA, and automation teams in maintaining and optimizing control loops. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all instrumentation systems. Maintain documentation of calibration records and compliance with ISO, FSSC, and dairy regulatory standards. Assist in new project installations, commissioning, and automation upgrades. Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure smooth operation and product consistency. Maintain and manage an inventory of critical instrumentation spares. Train technicians and operators on basic instrument handling and care. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Instrumentation, or related field. 3 5 years of relevant experience in the dairy, food beverage, or process industry. Strong knowledge of field instruments (flowmeters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, control valves, weighing systems, level sensors). Familiarity with dairy processing equipment and automated systems (PLC/SCADA). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Good understanding of GMP, food safety, and quality standards in the dairy industry.
