Instrumentation Engineer

Role Overview: As an Instrumentation Engineer at Balaji Amines, your role will involve operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting DCS panels, DG Sets, Transformers, and field instruments. You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day instrumentation and control maintenance activities, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and carrying out Root Cause Analysis for failures. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and calibrating instruments such as control valves, transmitters, Weighing Machines, and flow/level/pressure/temperature meters. Additionally, you will play a key role in executing plant start-up, shutdown procedures, and handling emergencies independently. Your responsibility will also include preparing and maintaining SOPs for instrument calibration and maintenance while ensuring compliance with legal metrology and licensing related to plant instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot DCS panels, DG Sets, Transformers, and field instruments - Supervise day-to-day instrumentation and control maintenance activities - Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance for all instrumentation and electrical systems - Carry out Root Cause Analysis for failures and implement corrective actions - Maintain and calibrate instruments like control valves, transmitters, Weighing Machines, and flow/level/pressure/temperature meters - Execute plant start-up, shutdown, and handle emergencies independently - Prepare and maintain SOPs for instrument calibration and maintenance - Ensure compliance with legal metrology and licensing related to plant instruments Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / E& TC etc. Additional Details: Balaji Amines focuses on team learning and individual learning, encouraging inter-departmental engagement.
