Role & responsibilities
Order Signing and Coordination with Sales Department
- Co-ordinate with Sales department after new orders
- Participate in Client meeting and explain the scope of work requirement for lift installation.
- Meeting with client and coordination as per project requirements.
- Support to sales team for technical matters.
- Responsible to send reconditioning letter to client if site shutdown for more than 2 months due to client issue.
- Monitor site visits are done on time and reports on site visits are furnished on time
- Responsible for price escalation if agreement period is over
GAD Approval
- Checking the document for GAD
- Address clarifications on GAD to HO
- Responsible for the timely GAD approval from client
Statutory Clearances
- Ensure timely Submission of Documents to HO for permission & completion of PWD Inspection.
Material procurement
- Responsible for Monthly and Quarterly material planning to be submitted to on time to HO.
- Follow-up with planning & warehouse with regards to material despatch also to sort out issues and ensure 100% material delivery as per the planning chart.
- Material issues are to be addressed and proper coordination with concerned department has to be done.
Installation Team Arrangement
- Responsible for arrangement of Contractor in approved rate from HO before material leave from HO to Branch.
- To manage and evaluate sub-contractors and maintain a good relation for long-term association.
- Develop & arrangement of new contractor for installation, Unloading & Timely contractor billing.
- Verify Contractor payment against work completion and send the required documents to HO for all stages of Contractor payment.
- Ensure payment to contractors are made as per the terms of engagement and verify every stage of payment
- Responsible for implementation & Achievement of Incentive pattern for Team.
- Responsible for Timely feedback of Installation Team to Higher Authorities.
Dispatch of Material
- Make sure before material dispatch COB I & II should be clear.
- Ensure after receipt of material at site within 3 Days MRIR report to be sent to HO.
Installation Management at Site
- Monitor the installation progress and resolve issues
- Highlight issues to the concerned department and ensure resolution on time
- Ensure stage wise QC to be done of installation work.
- Ensure safety of material & workers at site.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources at site and avoid any kind of wastage of materials and manpower hrs.
- Ensure updation of project status in Project Tracker/ZOHO on a regular basis and ensuring that project status updation is done accurately by the team
- Address safety related issues and coordinate to resolve the issues on time
Inspections and Handover related
- Responsible for the timely handover of lifts to maintenance and then to client.
- Ensure after completion of handover of lift surplus material list to be send to warehouse for collection of same from site.
- Responsible for collection of client satisfaction letter.
Team Management
- Coordinate for recruitment of required staff in the installation team
- Train the team on installation procedures, quality and safety standards
- Conduct appraisal of the team and take corrective actions for improving team performance
- Ensure that manpower is utilized correctly and effectively
- Responsible to maintain the manpower budget at the Branch
Meetings to be conducted
Weekly installation meeting and Joint installation - sales meeting to be conducted at Branch Frequency and Day to be recorded
Reports to be submitted
- Weekly/Monthly Project Status Reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends and recommending action
- Weekly/Monthly Outstanding Collections Report and get it certified from Accounts at HO
Any other responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
