Job Description

Network Technician : A Network Field Engineer ensures network reliability through on-site work, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network systems. They manage network infrastructure, security, and performance, often working on projects related to voice, data, video, and wireless networks. Their responsibilities include installing and upgrading hardware, resolving outages, and optimizing network performance. Key Responsibilities: On-site technical services: Performing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment and systems. Network infrastructure management: Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including hardware and software. Troubleshooting and problem resolution: Diagnosing and resolving network issues, outages, and performance problems. Network optimization: Maximizing network performance through upgrades, tuning, and collaboration with network architects. Security: Implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls and security software. Documentation and standards: Documenting network configurations, protocols, and procedures, and enforcing system standards. Required Skills: Networking knowledge: Deep understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices. Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve network problems effectively. Hardware installation and configuration: Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware. Security knowledge: Understanding of network security principles and best practices. Communication and collaboration: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and work effectively with others. Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
