We are looking for a Despatch Executive to manage the efficient dispatch of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining accuracy in documentation and coordination with logistics partners. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain operations. Role & responsibilities Plan and oversee the dispatch process to ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain and update dispatch records, invoices, and shipping documents. Track shipments and communicate the status with internal teams and customers. Ensure compliance with company policies related to transportation and logistics. Handle transportation issues such as delays, damages, or lost shipments and resolve them effectively. Work closely with vendors, transporters, and courier services to optimize dispatch processes. Ensure proper packaging and labelling of consignments before dispatch. Maintain stock levels and coordinate reordering as required. Assist in preparing MIS reports related to dispatch and logistics. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of logistics and dispatch management. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations is an advantage. Experience in a manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce environment. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Tally, or any dispatch management software. Role & responsibilities 1. Inventory management Maintain accurate record of RM, components in the store Monitor the stock levels properly 2. Material Handling Monitor the unloading, storing and issuance of materials to the production floor Maintain a systematic approach to stock movement on FIFO basis for materials. Reconciliation of material with Vendors Reconciliation of inhouse material. 3. Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials, includingdelivery receipts, and material issuance records. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and consumption. Report any discrepancies, shortages, of incoming material to the Purchase Manager 4. Co-ordinate with other departments Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure material availability for production needs. Coordinate with the production dept for timely issuance of material as per the needs 5. System Activities Making GRN and issuance of material in ERP system Passing rejection entries in ERP 6. Material Planning Generate the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) report using the system to assess material needs for upcoming production. Distribute the MRP to the Purchasing Department for timely order placement, ensuring sufficient material availability for production schedules. Develop and maintain material plans for consumables and other products required for production Prepare and submit regular material reports to the Purchasing Department, highlighting quantities and delivery timelines. Follow up closely with the respective purchaser to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials as per the production plan. 7. MISC Responsibilities Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned by management, supporting overall operations and contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.
