Job Description

Junior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (GCP | Cloud Run | Postgres | GitLab CI)


📍 Remote (India-based) | 🏥 Healthtech SaaS | 🕒 Full-time | 🔒 Security-first, multi-tenant

first dedicated Infra/DevOps hire


What you’ll do

  • Monitoring & Reliability:

    Build Cloud Monitoring/Sentry dashboards, alerts, SLOs; lead incident response & RCAs; write/run runbooks.

  • Infra Operations (GCP):

    Operate and optimise

    Cloud Run

    ,

    Cloud SQL (Postgres)

    ,

    DragonflyDB/Redis

    ,

    Cloud Storage

    ,

    Firebase Hosting

    ,

    DNS (Squarespace)

    across multi-env setups (4+ envs, 6+ autoscaling services each).

  • Automation & CI/CD:

    Own

    self-hosted GitLab CI

    pipelines; tighten build artifacts, blue/green & rollback; manage

    Ionic Appflow

    and

    Capgo

    for Capacitor apps (signing, automated builds, live updates).

  • Security & Compliance:

    Enforce IAM least-privilege, secrets management, encryption; maintain tenant isolation; support GDPR/data-protection controls.

  • Performance & Cost:

    Capacity planning, load testing, and

    FinOps

    (budgets, alerts, right-sizing, cache strategy).


Requirements (Must-have)

  • 2+ years with

    GCP

    (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, Cloud Storage, Firebase Hosting).

  • Postgres (DBA-level):

    backups, PITR, tuning, HA/replication, extensions.

  • Redis/DragonflyDB

    for caching/locks;

    BullMQ

    job queues.

  • Docker

    build optimisation & image hygiene.

  • GitLab CI/CD

    (preferably self-hosted) for automated deploys & rollbacks.
  • Operated

    Ionic Appflow

    and

    Capgo

    for Capacitor app pipelines (signing/live updates).
  • Incident management, capacity planning, and cost control experience.
  • Cloud security best practices; GDPR/data-protection awareness.


Strongly preferred

  • Ran/scaled a

    multi-tenant SaaS

    .
  • Proven

    cloud cost optimisation

    wins.
  • Integrated

    mobile CI/CD

    into broader infra automation.


Nice to have

  • nocodb

    exposure.

  • Terraform/Pulumi
