Collaborating with other IT professionals, such as software developers and security analysts, to ensure that the infrastructure is integrated with other systems and that security requirements are met. Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that critical systems and data can be restored in the event of an outage or disaster. Managing virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper - V, to create and manage virtual machines and virtual networks. Creating and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure design, configuration, and operation. Strong analytical and problem - solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
