Backend Developer (Node.js / Prisma / CI-CD / Server Management)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer with solid experience in backend development, Prisma ORM, and server-side operations including CI/CD, security, and performance optimization. The role involves designing scalable APIs, managing databases, and ensuring reliable backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js / Nest.js.
  • Work with Prisma ORM for data modeling and efficient database interactions.
  • Build and maintain scalable RESTful / GraphQL APIs.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.
  • Ensure backend security, performance tuning, and logging.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend teams to define and deliver complete features.
  • Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js / Nest.js, and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Experience with Prisma ORM and relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience in CI/CD setup (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience with server management, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong understanding of API design, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.

Good To Have

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices.
