Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis:
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and analyze performance requirements and non-functional specifications.
Test Planning & Design:
Developing comprehensive performance test plans, strategies, and designing effective test scenarios.
Script Development & Execution:
Creating and executing performance test scripts using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or other relevant platforms.
Monitoring & Analysis:
Monitoring system performance during tests, identifying bottlenecks, conducting root-cause analysis, and providing actionable recommendations for performance improvement.
Reporting & Communication:
Generating detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Working closely with development, consulting, and other testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Research & Evaluation:
Exploring and evaluating alternative performance testing approaches, tools, and supporting Proof of Concepts (POCs).

Technical & Professional Requirements:

Experience:
Relevant experience in performance testing, including performance engineering, stress, endurance, and HA failover testing within an SDLC methodology.
Tool Proficiency:
Expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar industry-standard tools.
Technical Understanding:
Knowledge of design principles, fundamentals of architecture, performance engineering concepts, and quality processes.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify performance issues and propose solutions.
Communication:
Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
