As a Systems Administrator, you will take charge of our IT hardware ecosystem, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and efficiency to support cutting-edge aerospace engineering.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware – servers, workstations, networking devices, and more.
• Managing system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitoring system performance and resolving issues before they become problems.
• Implementing cybersecurity best practices to protect our data and IT infrastructure.
• Managing user access controls, permissions, and account provisioning.
• Keeping an inventory of IT assets and planning hardware upgrades.
• Providing technical support and training to team members.
• Working with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Documenting IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

What You Need To Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Some experience in system administration or IT support.
• Strong expertise in Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments.
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware and protocols (firewalls, switches, VPNs and Wi-Fi).
• A solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• A knack for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently in a high-paced startup environment
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
