Information Technology Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst with 6-9 Years of experience, your role involves partnering with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document, and communicate the objectives, business requirements, and priorities for information systems and solutions. You will work closely with application and technical experts on solution design, implementation, support, maintenance, calendar of activities (patching, updates, upgrades), and enhancement of the information systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the effort, in collaboration with the business, to define and document what constitutes business success for medium to large size initiatives within a single organization. - Elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the large initiative. - Lead or work as part of a team to gather requirements and document non-functional business requirements. - Conduct requirements management activities to ensure that changes are well understood and approved by the stakeholders. - Perform solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs. - Review test plans, testing methodology, and participate in testing to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements. - Conduct problem analysis, escalate complex issues for resolution, and act as a point of escalation for moderate to difficult problems. - Develop positive relationships with business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes. - Coach and mentor less experienced business analysts and deliver business value using relevant Business Relationship Management practices. - Proficient in MS365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Word. Key Skills: - Azure or AWS certifications - DevOps certification Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field - 6-9 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Certification in Azure, AWS, or DevOps would be an advantage,
