This position is part of the Ivalua Project team and reports to Asia Purchasing Process & Tools Manager The IS Purchasing - Key User is responsible for supporting the APAC team of the implementation of the Purchasing Information System project. He/She will be part of a project team and is accountable for all project streams including: Local coordination & completion of the site activities towards IS Purchasing tool of each APAC waves Propose IS Purchasing tool enhancements in the maintenance phase Promote the tool & support the end-users within his/her geographical scope Align with the CORE team JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS IMERYS has committed to a challenging purchasing optimization program that aims to support savings performance plans with technological assets and digitalize the purchasing process to offer buyers' community (and other profiles such as stakeholders) suitable tools in order to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value-added duties. The aim of the project is to implement Purchasing IS within all Imerys entities: Users number: Up to 400 Applicative map: 4 pillars (SRM / E-sourcing / Purchasing Contracts / E-procurement) Project number (functional / technical): 1 Software: Ivalua Scope: Worldwide, focus on APAC & China KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES For the solution deployment & continuous improvement Serve as the primary point of contact for specific business applications Provide expert-level support and guidance to end-users Identify and implement process improvements to enhance application efficiency Deliver training programs for application users Monitor and analyze application usage metrics to drive improvements Troubleshoot complex issues and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary Establish a trusty relationship with users and stakeholders Participate in change management processes JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and Experience requirements Essential Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering 3 years of practical experience in purchasing process & tools (Source to Contract) Experience in a Global organization with competing priorities and ambiguous requirements Fluent or native English speaker Desirable Experience in Procure to Pay process and ERP, Ivalua software is a plus Fluent in any additional Asian language (Chinese, ) Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company Soft skills and abilities Leads self & Leads others Self-driven and ability to work with autonomy Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure, and a moving context Flexible working hours to accommodate diverse geographic locations Communicates & Collaborates Strong verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal and collaborative skills Good presentation and communications skills across multiple levels of the organization, including senior management Ability to bring enthusiasm to the users community Delivers results Problem-solving ability with a rigorous mindset Drives improvement Continuous improvement mindset Keen attention to detail PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. International travels around the different locations of Imerys around the world may require a physical effort associated with luggage and professional computer transportation. Hours can be extensive as well due to travel. Job requirements may correspond with reduced mobility situations.
