Role Overview: As an Information Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Senior Security Architect at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in enforcing Information Security compliance within your specific area of responsibility. Your expertise and hands-on knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring the implementation of technical control aspects and achieving compliance with Information Security controls. Additionally, you will serve as a Security Architect and act as the point of escalation for all IT security-related aspects within your domain. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, track, and manage security initiatives and remediation of findings across applications, databases, and underlying infrastructure components, ensuring the implementation of security controls throughout the IT estate and user community. - Collaborate with key stakeholders such as CIOs, COOs, business leaders, and Managing Directors to ensure compliance with security policies and controls, leading a virtual team of TISOs, security specialists, and professionals. - Design, build, and implement enterprise-class security systems aligned with standards, frameworks, and business and technology strategies. - Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, recommending changes or enhancements to mitigate emerging threats and balance business requirements with security needs. Qualifications Required: - 10-15 years of experience in managing IT security in diverse technical and cultural organizations, preferably in a strongly regulated financial institution. - Expertise in security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles, and emerging technologies, with experience in designing and implementing security solutions. - Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills, with the ability to lead teams and initiatives across multiple departments. - Knowledge of security considerations in cloud computing, including data breaches, authentication issues, hacking, data loss, and other potential threats. - Experience in consulting and engineering to develop security best practices and implement security principles to meet business goals, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
