Chubb Analytics and Insights Platform (AIP) is a state-of-the-art Data Lake Analytics Platform using cutting edge open source and cloud data technologies. Our Data Lake Platform supports multiple Chubb business units executing Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics use cases. We are looking for an experienced Informatica IDMC Platform Engineer to help support our Data Marketplace initiative

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and develop:

  Create data integration solutions, workflows, and mappings using Informatica IDMC/IICS to meet business requirements.

• ETL/ELT processes:

  Perform data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to move and integrate data between different systems.

• Data quality and governance:

  Implement data quality policies, conduct data profiling, and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

• Collaboration:

  Work with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimization and troubleshooting:

  Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot data integration issues to ensure seamless operations.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain technical documentation for data integration processes and workflows.

• Support and maintenance:

  Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing data integration solutions. 

Required qualifications and skills

• Experience:

  Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in data integration using Informatica IDMC/IICS.

• Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Informatica IDMC/IICS.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with various databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data quality and governance principles.
• Experience with tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) is a plus.
