You will play a crucial role in facilitating collaborative research projects, consultancy services, and innovation initiatives between the university and corporate partners. Building and maintaining a network of corporate sponsors to ensure appropriate recognition and return on investment will be essential. Working with the university's development office, you will explore new avenues for corporate philanthropy and donations. Moreover, you will develop and implement initiatives to enhance student retention, progression, and academic success. Involving industry experts in curriculum design, advisory boards, and guest lectures to ensure academic programs remain relevant and responsive to industry needs will be a key focus. Encouraging faculty and students to engage in joint research projects, internships, and real-world problem-solving with corporate partners will also be part of your role. Your responsibilities will also include leveraging the university's alumni network to strengthen corporate connections and create collaboration opportunities. Organizing alumni events, industry networking sessions, and corporate meet-ups to build strong ties between alumni and the corporate sector will be crucial. Engaging with alumni in leadership positions within the corporate world to explore partnership opportunities will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting the university's brand and reputation within the corporate sector through targeted marketing, communication, and public relations efforts. Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the visibility of the university's programs, research, and achievements in the business community will be essential. Representing the university at corporate events, conferences, and industry forums to build relationships with key stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will plan and organize corporate engagement events such as career fairs, corporate conclaves, industry roundtables, and networking events. Collaborating with faculty and staff to create opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals and gain practical insights will be crucial for student development. As a Corporate Relations Manager, you will manage the budget and resources allocated to the Corporate Relations office to ensure efficient and effective use of funds. Overseeing the allocation of resources for corporate engagement initiatives and advocating for necessary resources to support academic programs and initiatives will be part of your responsibilities. Advocating for additional resources and support to expand the scope and impact of corporate relations activities will also be essential. In terms of reporting and analytics, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate relations programs using data and analytics to inform decision-making. Preparing regular reports on corporate engagement activities, outcomes, and impact and presenting them to university leadership will be part of your role. Ensuring transparency and accountability in the management of corporate partnerships and resources will also be crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with extensive experience in corporate relations, business development, or a related area. A proven track record of successful corporate partnership development and relationship management is required. A strong understanding of industry trends, business needs, and the higher education landscape is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with experience in managing internships, placements, corporate training, and industry-focused academic programs. Desirable attributes for this role include strong connections with industry leaders, corporate organizations, and professional bodies. Experience in corporate training, executive education, or consultancy services will be beneficial. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, corporate partners, and alumni, is essential. The lead Program Management, Small Molecules position is responsible for establishing and providing overall leadership in project management for small molecules technology (SMT) and Analytical technology (AT) in Chennai, as well as supporting the management of OpEx and CapEx budgets. This role also involves supporting Stores & Logistics for the synergy site. You will provide leadership to the Project Management team by defining clear, realistic goals, removing barriers to ensure team progress, and facilitating rapid decision-making. Additionally, you will facilitate resolution and appropriate escalation of conflicts within the team and with other stakeholders to ensure project success. Managing internal and external business partners to achieve common objectives is a critical responsibility, along with engaging, influencing, and coordinating all functions involved in the development of assigned products. With over 15 years of experience in scientific and technical project management within the pharmaceutical sector, you should possess advanced project management skills, hands-on experience with drug regulations, and the ability to manage a portfolio of projects. Must-have qualifications include familiarity with small molecule manufacturing technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in technical project management. Additionally, you should be an active listener, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear priorities, and maintaining technical and project management capability within the Technical Teams. Preferred qualifications such as PMP certification and experience with the Power BI tool are considered advantageous. This role will involve interactions with various internal and external stakeholders, including Small Molecule Technology, Analytical Technology, Global Technology Engineering & Launch, Pfizer Manufacturing Sites, and Regulatory Sciences.
