About the Role: We seek a strategic and proactive individual to support the Federal Industry Sales Teams in driving growth, managing a robust sales pipeline, and exploring market opportunities. This role is critical in ensuring pipeline health across segments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address gaps. The Federal Sales team is responsible for business from multiple sub-segments like Defence (includes corporates involved in defence projects, DRDO labs), Space agencies, PSUs, Energy & Utilities, Railways etc. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline: a) Pipeline Heath Check & Management (PHCM) of key metrics - analyze, identify gaps, orchestrate the execution of corrective actions to secure future business. b) Track progress on future key deals, and periodic reviews with sales management and the extended team to ensure timely progress and early addressable of roadblocks. Market Expansion and Influence: a) Work with Sales Management on the big bets: accounts specific initiatives, vertical programs! b) Orchestrate program execution with x-functional internal teams and directly own a few selective programs / big bets. c) Proactive engagement between internal teams (including global) for seamless execution of initiatives. d) Work alongside Ecosystem team and select partner to drive vertical specific engagements (account level, initiatives) 3. Strategic Support & Engagement a) Partner with the Sales Management to drive key initiatives, track industry trends, uncover potential expansion opportunities and support the progression of identified Industry big bets. b) Build milestones and success criteria for the key initiatives / big-bets to be measured periodically. c) Connect, engage, and maintain relationship with senior executives with customer organizations and industry influencers. Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering, Science, Marketing, or related field; MBA/MS preferred. 15+ years in sales, business development, or related roles with proven experience. It is essential for the individual to have worked in the Federal sector (especially defence). Strong pipeline management, market expansion, and strategic planning skills. Ability to get hands on for execution. Ability to work with CRM, Dashboards and BI tools. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
