Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation and risk management strategies for plant construction and renovation projects. Coordinate with top management, Vice President and Construction vendor to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to ensure projects stay on track. Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines. Manage subcontractors, suppliers and other project partners to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Plan and oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Coordinate with equipment suppliers and internal teams to ensure proper integration of machinery with existing systems. Conduct testing and validation of new equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship and materials. Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with industry standards, regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety on-site by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings. Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources. Track project expenses and provide regular financial reports to senior management. Optimize resource allocation to achieve project objectives within budget and on schedule. Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians and construction workers. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Communicate project status, milestones and issues to Top management. Prepare detailed project reports, documentation and presentations. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates on project progress. Skills Required Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and renovation projects, preferably in a manufacturing environment Hands on experience in CAD software and MS Office Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations Proficiency in project management software and tools Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred candidate profile We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Project Engineer to oversee the Industrial construction, renovation and machinery implementation plans for our manufacturing plant with Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience. This role combines technical expertise in engineering with strong project management skills to ensure the successful execution of plant construction, renovation and machinery installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, engineering and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations. Willing to travel and handle group companies projects.
