Job Description: Industrial & Production Engineer Location: Gurgaon || Department: Engineering & Maintenance Role Overview: SpiceJet Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Industrial & Production Engineer to optimize engineering operations, manpower utilization, cost efficiency, and vendor negotiations. The role requires hands-on ground reporting, service provider coordination, and detailed cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency within the engineering domain. Key Responsibilities: Operational & Manpower Management: Oversee manpower planning, deployment, and reporting for engineering operations. Monitor and optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Ensure timely reporting of workforce productivity and service provider performance. Service Provider & Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with engineering service providers and ensure SLA compliance. Oversee third-party vendors and ensure alignment with operational requirements. Negotiate contracts with service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions. Cost Analysis & Optimization: Conduct detailed cost analysis of maintenance operations and engineering projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and compliance. Prepare financial reports and operational budgets for engineering activities. Process Improvement & Reporting: Implement industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Analyze production and engineering workflows to minimize waste and improve turnaround times. Provide reporting with data-driven insights for management decision-making. Key Requirements: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 1-2 years in aviation engineering, MRO, or industrial production roles. Strong analytical, negotiation, and cost management skills. Proficiency in engineering reporting, data analysis, and vendor management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
