Job Summary : Incumbent should have 15-18 years of experience in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) practices viz Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S & TPM and Kaizens to improve Operational performance and efficiency through Operational Excellence initiatives. Incumbent would foster Operational Excellence and continuous improvement culture in the organization. Key Duties & Responsibilities: To Develop, Align & integrate processes to meet business needs and manage OPEX (Operational Excellence) Projects, with special focus on Industrial Engineering activities. Identify potential process improvement projects and monitor & thoroughly follow up for closure. To provide direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the existing Operational Excellence projects for optimum savings & process improvements. Conduct work-study assignments and establish production work-standards. Develop process output monitoring systems, dashboards, MIS etc. for all operations. Device incentive schemes performance linked system Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices for continuous improvement of OPEX. To lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams for OPEX initiatives. Clearly communicate teams progress to Business Head – Management To deliver trainings and coach on WCM tools & techniques To develop training modules on WCM tools & techniques Functional Competencies: Incumbent should be certified WCM practitioner / Lean Mfg. Certification / Lean Six Sigma Certification from reputed institute, technically strong and thorough in understanding & interpretation of Lean Six Sigma tools, TPM, 5S and Kaizens and Industrial Engineering Concepts Proven track record of being Champion of the Processes and successful execution of Improvement projects. Proven track record of developing production work-standards, hand-holding in achieving work-standards Ability to present the data in simple, Lucid & pictorial way for better understanding of the Team members. Computer Skills i.e. Proficiency in MS Office viz PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
