Position Overview: As an Industrial Design Engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading the design, development, manufacturing, and management of diverse engineering projects spanning aerospace and defense, medical devices, and electronics industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced technologies, and shape the future of multiple sectors. Responsibilities: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative solutions for aerospace and defense, medical devices, and electronics industries. Utilize your expertise in industrial design principles, ergonomic considerations, and human factors to create products that prioritize user experience and functionality. Work closely with engineering teams to translate design concepts into manufacturable products, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and industry standards. Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to production and commercialization, while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, informing product strategy and design decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to address requirements, gather feedback, and ensure project success. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and innovation. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to aerospace and defense, medical devices, and electronics industries. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent field (B.Tech/M.Tech), or Bachelor's/Master's in Industrial Design (B.Des/M.Des). Proven experience in industrial design, product development, and project management, preferably in aerospace and defense, medical devices, or electronics sectors. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion360, CATIA) and rendering tools to create detailed designs and visualizations. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Demonstrated creativity, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, with a passion for driving innovation and pushing technological boundaries. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to aerospace and defense, medical devices, and electronics industries is desirable.
