Job Description – Operations & Warehouse Manager You’ll be responsible for managing the store’s back-end operations, including warehouse inventory, in-store stock flow, e-commerce order fulfillment, vendor coordination, and system updates. This is a critical role ensuring that products move efficiently from our warehouse to the customer—whether that customer is shopping online or walking into the store. Key Responsibilities 1. Warehouse & Inventory Management Oversee warehouse operations – receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching inventory. Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits. Tagging, barcode scanning, and SKU-level organization. Coordinate inward stock from partner brands and maintain GRNs. Monitor aging stock, returns, damages, and non-moving inventory. 2. E-commerce & Order Fulfillment Manage daily packing and shipping of online orders from platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa Fashion , etc. Coordinate with courier partners for timely pickups and deliveries. Update order statuses, generate shipping labels, and handle returns/exchanges. Work closely with the e-commerce and customer service team to meet SLAs. 3. Retail Store Operations Ensure timely restocking of products from the warehouse to the shopfloor. Support the sales team in stock availability, product movement, and VM changes. Assist in store inventory audits and seasonal stock shifts. 4. Vendor & Logistics Coordination Liaise with brand partners for stock arrivals, PO tracking, and return shipments. Track and reconcile inward stock vs. purchase orders and invoices. Negotiate and manage relationships with delivery/logistics partners. 5. Reporting & Process Optimization Maintain daily MIS reports for stock, sales vs. inventory, order status, etc. Identify and implement process improvements in storage, dispatch, and stock flow. Work with the founder to digitize inventory workflows and integrate systems. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/inventory/e-commerce operations. Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar platforms. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory software. Ability to manage a small team of helpers or warehouse staff. Good communication and accountability skills. Nice to Have Experience in fashion/lifestyle brands or multi-brand setups. Understanding of ERP or POS systems. Worked in both D2C and marketplace e-commerce formats. Job Description – Community & Business Growth Manager The Community & Business Growth Manager will drive brand visibility, partnerships, and community engagement for Indiehouse. This role is focused on building collaborations, hosting events, and driving café footfall and rental revenue by turning Indiehouse into a hub for experiences, community, and culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. Brand Partnerships Identify and reach out to relevant fashion, lifestyle, and local brands for in-store partnerships and collaborations. Manage relationships with all brand owners and ensure smooth coordination for product displays, pop-ups, and co-marketing. Explore cross-promotions and collaborations between Indiehouse Café and partner brands. 2. Events & Experiences Plan and coordinate pop-ups, workshops, and live gigs to increase footfall. Explore rental opportunities to host external events and generate revenue from leasing space. Coordinate event logistics, vendor requirements, and promotional campaigns. 3. Café & Community Partnerships Build partnerships with local communities and groups (e.g. running, cycling, yoga, or art clubs) for meetups, “Sunday Coffee Runs”, etc. Partner with Airbnbs, hostels, boutique hotels, travel agencies, and cab operators to bring their guests to Indiehouse Café. Develop commission-based relationships with these partners for customer referrals. 4. Marketing & Visibility Support social media team with partnership/event content. Track ROI from partnerships and events (footfall, sales, leads). Explore local listings, influencer tie-ups, and collaborations that align with Indiehouse’s brand vibe. 5. Weekly Deliverables Minimum 2–3 new brand or community outreach initiatives. 1 confirmed event/pop-up per month. 2 new partnership leads from local hotels, travel, or community networks. Weekly report on outreach, events, and footfall impact. Key Skills & Qualities Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, outgoing, and comfortable with cold outreach. Experience in marketing, events, hospitality, or community management preferred. Organized with attention to follow-ups and reporting. Familiarity with Jaipur’s local creative, lifestyle, and travel communities is a plus. Compensation Fixed base salary + incentives/commissions based on partnership revenue or event rentals. (Can start as part-time or freelance initially, transitioning to full-time based on performance.)
