About The Role KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK JOB DESCRIPTION MANAGER FINANCE DEPARTMENT - Finance and Accounts, BKC-Mumbai MAJOR ACTIVITIES ƒ˜ Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per Indian GAAP/IFRS/IND AS and Companies Act and as required by RBI. ƒ˜ Preparation of Monthly MIS Reports, variance analysis report, actual vs budgets reports and preparation of forecast statements. ƒ˜ Monitoring monthly financial performance of the business against budgets and undertake variance analysis to ensure that deviations are highlighted to various business/functions for corrective actions. ƒ˜ Assist in annual planning and budgeting cycle. ƒ˜ Ensure that the Books of Accounts are properly maintained and updated on day to day basis and implementation and adherence to internal control policies and standards. ƒ˜ Liasoning with Internal as well as Statutory Auditors for timely completion of Audits. D2C/e-commerce, Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and analyze timely MIS reports for effective management decision-making Ensure accurate preparation and review of the balance sheet and financial statements Manage GST compliance and timely filing of GST returns Handle all facets of direct and indirect taxation, including filings and coordination with tax authorities Supervise all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for timely payments and collections Lead preparation for audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure audit compliance Monitor and enhance internal financial controls, processes, and documentation Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records using SAP and other ERP systems Liaise as needed with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies Uphold company financial policies, statutory requirements, and accounting standards Mentor and lead the finance team for optimal performance and compliance Skills & Experience Required: Chartered Accountant (CA), cleared in the first attempt (compulsory) Minimum 710 years experience, preferably in FMCG, D2C, or Retail industries Proficiency in SAP and hands-on experience with SAP-based accounting/ERP systems Strong analytical, reporting, and audit process skills Expert knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and taxation laws Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other financial applications High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities Candidates from strong FMCG, D2C/Ecommerce, or retail backgrounds are highly preferred.
