Summary/Objective The Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining pricing strategies across Y-Nots ecommerce portfolio. This role involves SKU-level cost analysis, margin modeling, competitor benchmarking, lifecycle pricing, and cross-functional collaboration with sourcing, inventory, marketing, and finance teams. Essential Functions Key responsibilities of this role include: Product Cost Analysis: Collect and validate total landed costs (product, shipping, duties, packaging, etc.) for each SKU. Work closely with sourcing and procurement teams to ensure accurate baselines. Pricing Structure Setup: Define and maintain base price, MRP, and margins for each product category. Manage pricing tiers for customer segments (B2B, Fortune 1000, resellers, SMBs). Pricing Strategy Development: Support the implementation of cost-plus, competitive, value-based, or seasonal pricing models. Recommend penetration, premium, or psychological pricing as needed by product lifecycle. Promotions & Bundle Pricing: Design and execute bundle deals, discounts, coupon codes, and limited-time offers. Profitability & Scenario Modeling: Model gross margins, break-even points, and pricing elasticity for new and existing products. Competitive & Market Benchmarking: Conduct periodic scans of market pricing across ecommerce and retail channels. Maintain a pricing dashboard to benchmark Y-Nots position. Inventory-Linked Pricing: Recommend price markdowns for slow-moving inventory or clearance items. Align pricing with warehouse space optimization and turnover goals. Pricing Governance & Compliance: Support approval workflows for special pricing or discount exceptions. Ensure no unauthorized discounts or margin leakages occur. Platform Integration & Data Maintenance: Upload and audit pricing data across backend systems (Odoo/ERP, CRM, ecommerce store). Maintain pricing consistency across all platforms and sales channels. Analytics & Reporting: Track average selling price (ASP), SKU-wise profitability, and pricing impact on cart behavior. Identify lost sales due to pricing or competitor shifts. Lifecycle-Based Pricing: Develop pricing strategies for product launches, seasonal peaks, and end-of-life phases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Inventory teams to align on pricing goals. Participate in weekly review meetings to analyze performance and adjust pricing tactics. SOP & Playbook Development: Maintain the Pricing Playbook with rules, approval matrices, and SOPs. Document and update procedures for pricing setup and governance.
