Job Description

General Responsibilities Assist with operational functions in the offshore location such as various work shifts, transportation requirements and considering local regulations etc. Ensures global Corporate Policies are implemented and maintains certain local policies related to the Mouser India Regional Hub where required. Prioritize and escalate problems to the appropriate management and vendors. Must be competent and knowledgeable in operations, policies, and procedures. Property Facility Management Maintain efficient office operations and ensure a safe working environment. Responsible for providing leadership and supervision of all aspects related to the facilities and facility services operations. Ensures all company assets on site are adequately protected, and all purchases for the management of the facilities are made in line with global and local policies approved, recorded, secured and accounted for according to procurement and storage policies. Accountable for all leases and service contracts, responsible to ensure high quality food service and local transportation services for the night shift employees and visitors. Managing any kind of outages ranging from network, electrical to any political or local unsettling in and around office area. Proactive communication with local and Corporate Management to ensure alignment of day-to-day facility services. Align closely with local leadership to support the operations of all office areas and teams represented all offices according to agreed requirements and service levels. Forecast and plan for space, capacity requirements based on information provided by all departments and organizations setup offshore. Evaluate, negotiate, and recommend external consultants, contractors, and vendors based on project needs using various methodologies for local technology, business, or facility projects. Procurement Manages local procurement function for assets, supplies and services, as an extension of Corporate Procurement Conduct assessments to identify and qualify vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Ensure all vendors and vendor services are contracted and managed in accordance with global procurement and compliance policies. Ensure all vendors are vetted and confirmed by the Finance Department and required number of quotes are procured for all services and purchases. Perform detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options aligned with budget constraints and quality standards. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract terms and conditions. Office Administration Manage admin- teams. Maintain efficient office operations and ensure a safe working environment. Comply with all company and Department Policies and Procedures. Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. SKILLS CERTIFICATIONS Strong knowledge and experience in property and facility management, including contract management for leases, maintenance and facility services. Good knowledge of office operations concepts, best practices and procedures in the context of a global organization. Experience in procurement operations with strong negotiation skills. Experience with IT asset management for a global organization. Knowledge of risk management concepts and controls for loss prevention. Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments. Possesses good interpersonal communication skills. Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments only when needed. Proactive and highly effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work on multiple assignments and effectively manage time and priorities of staff. Very good organization and project management skills. Possesses strong leadership skills. Knowledge of risk/loss control and prevention through maintenance. Ability to establish and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels. Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments. High level of personal integrity and ethical standards EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Bachelor s degree in business management, Information Technology or related fields. Minimum of 15 years prior work experience in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years in a Global offshore office management function. Internal candidates: Minimum 5 years as a highly effective member of management team member and responsible for procurement, facility services and office operations. .
