Import Executive

Job Description

Responsibilities Timely order placement, material tracking of imported materials for allocated brands. Payment planning and document alignment for import suppliers Manage the import process by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Ensure compliance with all import regulations and documentation requirements - shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, and customs declarations, etc. Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays. Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, customs declarations and other documents. Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of import duties, taxes, and freight charges. Communicate with internal departments regarding order status and delivery schedules. Assist in Import Vendor Reconciliation Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to import transactions. Provide support in developing import strategies to improve efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a relevant role for 2+ years Strong understanding of INCO terms, shipping terms, and international trade terms. Knowledge of customs regulations and experience with customs clearance procedures. Familiarity with international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
