Implementation Engineer

Must have skills:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Application/Technical Support.
• Basic knowledge on writing SQL queries using MySQL.
• Basic scripting knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge and work experience in UNIX environments.
• Basic enterprise network communications configuration, infrastructure and issue resolution.
• Should have worked on ticketing tools like Jira / Remedy/ Service Now.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Raising change requests and implementing system changes.
• Coordinate with the relevant team to reach resolution in a timely manner.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL processes for IT Support.
• Coordinate and implement Change and Release requests.
• Update open and assigned tasks to ensure they are being completed in a timely manner.
• Dealing with application support queries and issues reported to the support desk and escalated to the Desktop Support Administrator
• Open to work on weekends for releases and disaster recovery tests.
• Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
• Prior experience in supporting 24x7 environment and rotation shifts.
• Regular system readiness test on Sundays shared within the team.
• Run scripts and database queries to extract data and to develop tools.
• Provide prompt support, including potentially participating in an on-call rotation, for implemented solutions.

• Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Masters degree is a plus.
• Relevant Technical certification a plus.
