Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPBCS Planning Workforce Oracle ARCS Consultant to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) Workforce Planning and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) . This role requires expertise in configuring Workforce Planning for headcount, compensation, and benefits modeling , along with ARCS for automated reconciliation, transaction matching, and variance analysis . The ideal candidate will work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to streamline financial planning, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Education Certification Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field . Oracle EPM / EPBCS / ARCS Certification (preferred but not mandatory). Additional certifications in financial planning, data analytics, or cloud technologies are a plus. Experience Technical Skills 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS Workforce Planning and ARCS implementation . Strong expertise in Workforce Planning module , including headcount, salary, and benefits forecasting . Experience with ARCS reconciliation processes, transaction matching, and automated workflows . Proficiency in business rules, Groovy scripting, MDX queries, and calculation scripts . Experience with Data Management (DM/FDMEE), Smart View, and Essbase cube optimization . Hands-on experience in integrating EPBCS ARCS with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday, etc.) . Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and ETL tools for data extraction and integration. Functional Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, workforce modeling, and account reconciliation . Experience in driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, and financial variance analysis . Industry experience in finance, banking, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, or IT services is a plus. Soft Skills Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing system and process issues. Ability to communicate effectively with finance, accounting, HR, and IT stakeholders . Experience in gathering requirements, documenting solutions, and conducting user training . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment . Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) . 1. Oracle EPBCS Workforce Planning Implementation Design and implement Workforce Planning models for headcount forecasting, salary projections, and compensation planning . Configure employee and job-based planning, workforce driver-based calculations, and allocation methodologies . Develop and optimize business rules, Groovy scripts, and calculation scripts to support workforce planning processes. Integrate Workforce Planning with other EPBCS modules (Financials, Capital, Projects) and ERP/HCM systems . Configure data forms, dashboards, and reports for HR and finance teams. Manage workforce assumption modeling for promotions, attrition, and new hires. 2. Oracle ARCS Implementation Reconciliation Implement ARCS for automated account reconciliation and transaction matching across financial systems. Configure reconciliation formats, workflows, and auto-match rules for different account types. Integrate ARCS with General Ledger (GL), ERP (Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday), and sub-ledgers for real-time reconciliation. Develop validation rules to reduce manual reconciliation efforts and improve audit compliance . Monitor reconciliation processes, identify variances, and support compliance reporting. Provide training to accounting teams on automated reconciliations and exception handling . 3. Data Integration System Management Configure and manage Data Management (DM/FDMEE) for data imports from multiple source systems. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across Workforce Planning and ARCS modules. Develop ETL processes, REST/SOAP API integrations , and SQL scripts for custom data transformations. Optimize performance of EPBCS models, reconciliation rules, and data loads . 4. User Training Support Conduct training sessions for finance, HR, and accounting teams on EPBCS Workforce Planning and ARCS functionalities. Develop user guides, best practices, and documentation for system usage and troubleshooting. Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements . 5. Stakeholder Collaboration Project Management Work closely with finance, HR, accounting, and IT teams to understand business needs and align solutions. Gather requirements, document functional and technical specifications, and lead system design discussions. Support UAT, system testing, and go-live activities . Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements .
