Technical Expertise

Must Have - Your Skills:

• Core Java

  : Strong understanding of OOPs, collections, exception handling, generics, and design patterns.

• Spring Boot

  : Deep knowledge of dependency injection, auto-configuration, profiles, and transaction management.

• RESTful Web Services

  : Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs; understanding of JSON and HTTP methods.

• Multithreading & Concurrency

  : Expertise in thread management, synchronization, Executor framework, concurrent collections, and performance optimization.

Database Skills:

• Strong SQL query writing, tuning, and optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL (procedures, triggers, packages, functions).
• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate for ORM integration.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with exception handling, logging, and security in Spring Boot.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with performance profiling and application monitoring (Actuator, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development (for senior roles; adjust if needed).
• Proven experience integrating Java applications with Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Implement multithreading and concurrency mechanisms for scalable and high-performance systems.
• Work closely with database teams to design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL packages in Oracle.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture with efficient communication and data handling.
• Ensure application reliability, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI developers, database engineers, and QA for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and best practice implementation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
