Job Summary

The School Principal is responsible for providing strong instructional leadership, managing school operations, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment. The role involves overseeing academic programs, staff performance, student welfare, and parent/community relations while ensuring compliance with educational standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to promote academic excellence and holistic student development
• Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
• Develop, implement, and monitor curriculum and academic programs
• Ensure a safe, disciplined, and inclusive school environment
• Manage school operations, budgets, and resources effectively
• Maintain compliance with education board regulations and policies
• Build strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders
• Oversee student admissions, discipline, and welfare
• Lead staff development, training, and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in Education or related field (B.Ed./M.Ed. required)
• Valid teaching and administrative certification (as per local regulations)
• Minimum [X] years of teaching experience and [X] years in a leadership role
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage staff, students, and parents effectively
• Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and educational technology
