Role & responsibilities Inventory Strategy & Optimization : Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels across all retail channels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Demand Forecasting & Planning : Work closely with the sales, marketing, and procurement teams to forecast demand accurately, ensuring inventory is aligned with customer demand trends and business objectives. Stock Control : Monitor and manage stock movements, product availability, and store replenishments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption to sales. Data-Driven Insights : Leverage analytics and inventory management to track stock levels, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Supplier & Vendor Management : Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and efficient stock replenishment. Team Leadership : Lead, train, and mentor a team of inventory and logistics professionals to ensure smooth operations, high performance, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve inventory management processes ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards. Reporting & Compliance : Prepare and present regular inventory reports, highlighting key metrics .Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Cost Management : Monitor and manage inventory-related costs, aiming to reduce waste, shrinkage, and overstock situations while maximizing profitability.
